CEEIBIS

Participation as National Director of External Affairs (2018-2020) and Presidency (2020-2021). CEEIBIS is the national student association for biomedical and health engineering. Its aim is to represent the students of these degrees, helping them to be recognized in the job market and creating spaces where they can develp soft skills useful for their future, complementing their univeristy formation. Also, it tries to make an impact on society participating in science outreach initiatives

Undergrad companions

Participation as a tutor student. The Undergrad Companions Program makes it easier for students new to the Bachelor Degree to integrate both socially and academically at the university. UC3M students in higher courses accompany and tutor students who have just joined the university.

Creation of didactical biomedical engineering content related to cancer research. The main objective of the initiative is to provide useful and reliable information, both to the professional and to the patient and their families through social networks. The project has articles that reflect personal stories, with the vision of patients and their caregivers, as well as professional articles that provide technical and scientific information to train health professionals.

Yo te ayudo con la sele

Participation as a non-profit teacher in @yoteayudoconlasele initiative. The platform aimed to provide free support to high school students preparing for the Evaluation of High School for University Access (EBAU or EVAU) exam, in response to the closure of schools and universities across the country and the impact it was having on students.

Digital pact for the future

Representation of young voices about the challenges of the digital transition in Spain in “Imagining the future: a Digital Pact written by young people”. It is an initiative born of collaboration between the Spanish University Debate League (LEDU) and Telefónica to promote the participation of young people in decision-making spaces. The document compiles the voices and vision of young students on the current trends of the digital society and the challenges and opportunities we face.
